Bored Piles

Cast-in-place piles that transfer structural loads to competent strata in soils with low bearing capacity.

Bored Piles

What are bored piles?

Bored (drilled) piles are reinforced concrete piles drilled and cast in place to carry building loads down to competent ground where the bearing capacity of the soil is low.

Bored piles must be constructed with high-capacity rotary drilling equipment suited to the diameter and depth specified in the design. On site, we use a fleet of heavy-duty modern bored piling rigs and crane-supported equipment.
